One Very Merry Christmas

Harlen's first Christmas came and went with the blink of an eye. All I wanted to do was slow that wonderful day down. On Christmas Eve, we spent the whole day at Gma and Gpa's. We watched movies, ate, and mom and I were crazy enough to get out and do some VERY last minute shopping. Then, we had planned to go to the Christmas Eve service at church, but it was SO cold and windy out we decided Harlen didn't need to be going out in that kind of weather so daddy and H stayed home while me and Gma went to the bookstore and enjoyed the service. We came home and had fondue with the family. Yum! Then we headed out to Plano to see this house with TONS of Christmas lights that were synchronized to music! So cool. If you have never seen it, you should for sure check it out! Harlen actually liked listening to the music with the flashing lights. Christmas morning daddy and Grandpa were the only ones to wake up before 10:00. (I'm sure that will change next year!) When the rest of us finally got up and at it we had the most amazing day with family and Harlen Violet was spoiled by her grandma and grandpa. This girl got as much stuff as she did at my baby showers! While mommy couldn't get enough of the day, Harlen however, was not so thrilled. She loves to sleep in (since she doesn't settle down for the night until about midnight usually) and we were up and moving before she wanted to be (although it was close to 11am!). After about 20 minutes of looking at her Jumperoo, exersaucer, play mat, and her purple princess chair (Thanks Aunt Cassie!) Harlen was DONE. Gma had to sit and rock her to sleep and she missed most of Christmas morning. Once she took a nap she was able to finally enjoy the rest of her presents and give most of them a try. It was the best present for me to sit there and watch her smile in her Jumperoo! Daddy got clothes, cologne, movies, giftcards, and screens for his headrests, which mainly will benefit H when she starts watching movies and mommy was spoiled, absolutely spoiled! I got clothes, shoes, a coffee maker, more Harlen things :), a purse, and daddy got me a Christmas present WITH a matching 'push' present! (*Pics below*) We had a wonderful day and we hope everyone else did as well.
