10 months...
Laughing, "talking", crawling, kissing, squeezing, clapping, waving, standing,
banging, sleeping, cuddling... Yep, you are pretty much doing it all (except for that walking thing) at 10
months old, sweet baby girl.
You are also in size 5 diaper, 18 month size clothes (some 24, eek), size 4 shoe, eating solids 2-3 times a day, and
breastfeeding 4-5 times a day (with 1-2 night time feeds as well). I am guessing you are around 22 pounds. You are too much fun sweet thing! You have a wonderful personality coming
through more and more each day. Here are some specifics for me to remember
forever...
You follow me everywhere now.
You "help" me do all household chores.
You get excited about pretty much everything and when you do you flap your arms,
bounce up and down, and hold your mouth open.
You give mommy and daddy kisses.
You can play the "open, shut them" game.
Favorite song is the "Isty Bitsy Spider".
You think it's fun to crawl off the bed. We are learning to go "toes" first!
You know what cup, bite, booby, and bye means.
You still love food. Your favorites have become meats and veggies. Particularly,
peas, sweet potatoes, and chicken.
You hum in your sleep like you are so relaxed and content.
You have crazy hair that is always in your face. While I love bows on you, it is
a necessity because if there wasn't something controlling your hair, you
wouldn't be able to see where you were crawling.
You love bath time, still, but have started to hate having your teeth brushed.
You are getting your 3rd tooth in (top left).
You blow raspberries, a lot.
You think it's funny when we smell your toes.
You love to rub your face, really hard into stuffed animals or your lovey...
also why you need a bow.
You are a pro with the sippy cup and love water. You haven't had juice yet.
You love peek-a-boo at Gymboree and the "Bubble Song" with bubbles.
You think grandma and grandpa are magical.
You are a good car napper now (thankfully).
You fall asleep with your face mushed into daddy cuddling him just about every
night.
You are friendly and smile to almost everyone you see.
You love the music at church and you sing along.
Your favorite toy right now is probably a cup or a ball. Very plain. You could
chase something around on the hardwood floors and be just fine even though you
have tons of toys that will sing, dance, and talk to you.
You are a night owl.
You can self feed pretty well.
We still think you might have a milk allergy. No yogurt, cheese or anything with
milk until you are tested at 12 months.
You don't sleep through the night. Why Harlen? Why, oh why?
You love having books read to you.
You love floating in the pool.
You don't like having your hair brushed or messed with, which is unfortunate
because everybody wants to touch it when they see you.
You are always grabbing for my iPhone. You would leap across my lap to reach it
on the table if I didn't stop you.
You are everything to us.
You are growing everyday. We wake up some days and can't believe how much you changed overnight.
