Rapunzel!

If you know Harlen, then you know her favorite movie is Tangled. She doesn't care or take any interest in anything else on TV (except the music stations, for dancing purposes!) but for some reason she absolutely loves Tangled! She can practically watch the whole movie, beginning to end. It was very fitting that she be Rapunzel for Halloween, in lieu of her fascination. And what a cute Rapunzel she made!

We are not huge Halloween people, but when you have a little one it is so much more fun! We not only took this little girl trick-or-treating, we visited a pumpkin patch, went to a fall festival in Rockwall, enjoyed Halloween decorations, showed off her costume at Baby Bounce and carved pumpkins. She didn't quite understand the whole trick-or-treating business. She wanted to give candy back to everybody. So we visited a few houses, then daddy and H passed out the candy at gpa and gma's house. They had a great time and H loved seeing everyone is costume. This Halloween was a success for sure. I cannot wait to see what this girl thinks of Christmas!

Gma always makes Sam Sam, the scarecrow man, to sit on the front porch. H called him mama. Hmm...hope there is no resemblance between him and I!
